There have been an increasing number of phishing attacks directed at SCAD students, faculty, and staff. Phishing is the act of sending emails designed to trick individuals into providing credentials or clicking a malware-laced link. These emails often appear to be from a trusted individual or known organization. Please be aware that the act of clicking on a link within an email can result in a hacker taking control of your device and gaining access to all the information to which you have access. Please be vigilant about not clicking on links within emails you are not expecting, or providing login credentials. If you have any questions regarding the legitimacy of an email you have received, please forward the email to infosec@scad.edu.
