Hello all!
I am Mackinley Farmer and I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to be studying at SCAD. I’m from a small town in North Carolina but moved to New York City after high school for two years to study fashion merchandising. Needless to say, I did not enjoy the fashion world one bit. So now here I am in Savannah eager to study Industrial Design which is my true passion (although I would major in chocolate eating if I could). I am absolutely obsessed with cars, motorcyles, planes, boats, anything with a motor. Yes, I was THAT girl asking for Matchbox cars instead of Barbies. My banjo and my yorkie Sgt. Pepper make me happier than anything. I like to think that if Pepper were human he’d wear a velvet smoking jacket and speak in a British accent. Any James Bond movie would have to be my favorite along with the classic Pride and Prejudice. That just about sums me up. I look forward to seeing you in class!
So I had actual things to say in response to this, but they’re all just drowned out by my want to chill and listen to some banjo music now.
