Getting excited to pan for gold!

Anyone who still wants to go: the money ($45)  is due tomorrow morning the absolute latest at the monitors desk in Fahm Hall!

This Friday, 9-21, we will be hosting our first sketching party at 6pm, Fahm Hall, room 104. We are providing a movie and snacks. It should be a fun way to get some homework done!

We are visiting a mine for a tour followed by a gold panning lesson! If you are interested in the overnight trip, come to the interest meeting on Tuesday, 9/18. The meeting follows the JEOB all department meeting at 6pm. Fahm Hall, Room 104. See you there!

The Metals and Jewelry Student Association is really pumped for this year!

Upcoming events:

Fall Fest, Saturday 9/15, 4-7pm: We will be passing out Ring Pops and flyers to interested students!

Gold Mine Tour and Panning Trip: Tentative dates 10/4-5. Interest Meeting for this trip is Tuesday October 18th @ 6pm. Fall Hall Room 104. The interest meeting follows the all department meeting.

Sketch Parties- Join us for a night of sketching! Come get some homework done and commiserate with other students. We are looking into the possibility of movies and popcorn! These events will be on Fridays- check back for dates and times!

If you are interested in getting more involved in the club, or have some great ideas! Let us know!

 

Hey everyone!

Welcome back to Savannah. We hope you all had a great summer! This year we are planning some fun stuff including a gold mining trip where we will tour a gold mine and get to learn how to pan for gold in its raw form!

Check back soon for details on the mining trip and other club events!

Start creating a piece of work to submit to the Radical Rubbish!

Work is due Tuesday Jan. 10th at 5pm.

Remember to grab a submission form and fill it out when submitting.
