We had a great turn out at Spring 2009 International festival. Our booth was jam packed for 4 hours and looked fantastic. The best part of all we had $1300.00 in sales in four hours.Thank you to everyone that helped with the set up and sales. You all did an awesome job.

We would like to thank Pattsy Bucci for taking the time to come in and give a workshop on bead stringing and pearl knotting. Here are a few picture from one of the 3 workshops that she has done for use.

Submissions for the Desoto Row trunk show are due SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10 from 1-5PM in Fahm Hall. There is a sheet located on the K drive, in Fahm hall, that gives details information on how to tag your work. PLEASE check the k drive for this information.
The maximum submission is 30 pieces per artist.
Price points can fall anywhere between $10 and $100.
Artists with pieces chosen will be required to work two shifts, one during set-up and the other during the actual show.
Please try and be on time with your submissions and be available for your shifts.
Scad MJSA Is back and on it way to a great quarter. We had a great time at Fall Fest and got a chance to meet with Scad’s new and upcoming young students. We had our first meeting on the 28th and had our best attendance to date. So keep it up everyone and we will see you at our next meeting.
We would like to get a group of students together to participate in the sidewalk arts festival. If you are interested please let us know we are going to get a grouping of squares and do jewelry renderings on them. Also we may have a booth set up for sales at the festival. We will be discussing this more at our meeting on April 7th at 7: 30pm so please come and let us know what you think.

Our next meeting is on Feb. 17th. We will be discussing the budget allocation as well as the past laser welding demo. We will also be discussing the up coming beading demonstration and the Mint Museum/ Bruce Metcalf trip. Don’t forget to come you can get one step closer to a free photo.
