Alphabet

The alphabet assignment was very fun and interesting. At first I had no idea what I wanted to do or where to look to find the letters. Luckily my art history class assigned us to look at a gothic style monumnet in savannah and I choose the green-meldrim house. I started to realize that the gates surrounding the house had tons of letters hidden within them, thus began my extreme obsessive picture taking of random fences around Savannah. After about only 50 pictures I had every letter in the alphabet along with all 9 letters. Figuring out how to showcase them in class was the difficult part. I arranged them several different ways and actually made the project 3 different ways before submitting the one I did. It shows all the letters in black and white to accentuate the ancient gothic style architecture. I went ahead and bought wire so I could create a fence like poster with all the letters, and at the bottom I hung an address (which included 5 of the numbers) by wire to make it look like an address hanging from a gate. Overall I am very happy with the turnout of my project.
