Motif Grid Project

I actually found this project to be very interesting and fun. I like to paint, so painting with ink was interesting and was also a first for me. The two shapes that I chose to form my motif was a octagon and a oval. I chose these for my motif because it created a very interesting pattern layout. During critique I saw some very unique designs which made me definitely reconsider things about my own but I still really enjoy my final piece. Some things I would of liked to change about my final piece would be the size of the border I chose, I would have rather there be no border. Also, I feel like I could have made my inking plan a little more interesting rather than so repetitive.
