Hello SCAD world!

I am a SoCal Girl or lady or watever until the day I die!!!

ps. I love Jamba and I miss it ohhhh sooooo much!!!!!!!

My Name is Kiara but everybody calls me Lin. I am from Santa Clarita or Valencia, California aka to people not from cali., Agrestic

I love photography, comics books, food ,and fashions!!! I especially LOVE

Batman!!! The reason why I love him sooo much and not in a I am going stalk you Christian Bale way. I too had a childhood trauma, more than one , but the fact he turned something horrible and made it into something good is amazing. He does not live as Bruce Wayne , he lives as Batman and Bruce is his mask so people will not find out who he really is.

But on a another note

I am the kind of person who loves video games, Star Wars, Comic con , Adventure Time !!, Deadmau5 , and Harry Potter OOOh Yea!.

There are many events that tried to keep me away from a school like SCAD. But there is only one tragic event that made me realize I should and do belong in SCAD.

SO what bought me to Scad?………

Well I knew since I was 7 years old, I knew I wanted to become a fashion designer. It was all thanks to the Movie Anastasia . I found all of her dresses beautiful, they matched her personality and her past. And it is not a Disney movie people its Dreamwork s. From then on I would alway design dresses. My soccer coach even brought paper and my classmates would design as well. We would pretend I owned a clothing line and we would vote who’s dress can be apart of my line.

Then Senior year of high school came and I told my parents that I wanted to go to Fashion schools. Long story short, they did not approve and soo I went to Ga Tech to start my journey to becoming a Lawyer and I was not happy there at all.

But then on Sept 29, 2012 my older sister pasted away. And Before she did I was telling her how I plan on leaving tech and really going my dream and finally living my life for me. She was very proud and reminded me of all the dresses I designed as child .  And when I returned home for the funeral I submitted my application to Scad and here I am .
