Most of us are familiar with F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic 1925 novel, Great Gatsby. This Christmas the remake will hit the big screen and it has a lot of people talking. Right after the trailer was released the film was noted for having some of the best costume and fashion design of the year. Costume designer Catherine Martin successfully depicts 1920s fashion in a modern way. All the commotion around the movie is said to bring back the 20s feel to everyday style. Here are a few comparisons to the 1920s and today’s Great Gatsby fashion.

With the holiday season approaching quickly there are some exciting things happening in the world of collaborations. Many designers such as Missoni and …. have collaborated with Target in the past but this holiday its going to be a little different. Neiman Marcus is actually going to be collaborating with them which means a large group of designers. To name a few Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera , Brian Atwood, Alice + Olivia, Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch and Marchesa are some designers creating different lines for target. All the items will range from  $7.99 to $499.99. This is one of the most anticipated collaborations in awhile and I am personally so excited for it. All the items will be available in stores and online starting December 1st.
