Jack and Jill!

In class, we had to do a project on the old time tale of Jack and Jill. The interesting part was that it had to be a completely different insight to the story. We had to use the story line and use different characters and make the lines in the story mean something else. We also had to work in groups. I really enjoyed working in a group. We got a lot done and in the end, all of our creativeness came together and created a good piece. In my opinion, our finished product was well put together. All of our portions looked like they were all done by the same person, which was a good effect. We all contributed very nicely. Lauren and Christian made up the two ideas we chose from. We ended up using Lauren’s idea, which was the story of Adam and Eve in reverse. Adam ended up eating the fruit before Eve in this case. We all contributed to creating our designs and coming up with ideas to add to the story. I feel like the group we had was a success and it worked very well. We received both good and bad during critique. The focal point in our piece was overwhelming and the hills in each portion weren’t straight and equal to the others. They liked the way we created our people out of a square and circle. They also liked how we added clothes to our characters. Overall, I enjoyed working on this project and would gladly do it again!
