Comedian Kathy Griffin is known for her outlandish and provocative sense of comedy, but has she gone a little too far this time?
On the 2012 live CNN New Year’s Eve television broadcast, the comedian hosted the program with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. They proved to be entertaining throughout the night, engaging in funny banter and friendly conversation. At one point during the night however, Griffin was seen kneeling down to kiss Cooper’s crotch. Cooper seemed to be quite surprised by this act, as well as extremely uncomfortable on camera.
Obviously Griffin is not afraid to take comedy to the next level, however did she go too far this time? In Griffin’s eyes the act was innocent and meant for a laugh, but it is not certain that her co-host and the audience appreciated the kiss as much as her.
