Today was the first critique. I think it went fairly well. For the most part my designs got a good review. The flaws that were mentioned in the designs were the continuous use of negative space and craftsmanship. The design that I chose to remake was the one where we had to use curves, diagonal, and vertical.
Here is the redesign.
Ooo, I do like me some of that redesign. I think you can definitely occupy the space a little better than your previous attempt; it really helps the overall rhythm of the piece.
