The first thing that i did to my map was ball it up. i rubbed the paper together cause i wanted a less stiff map. Then i tried to add chalk pastels. next i started to burn the  map, i ripped,and cut the map. When i thought i played with my map enough i sat down and look at the map thinking about what it meant to me. i thought about what is the first thing i think of when i see or hear the word map. I thought of where i have already traveled. I thought of all the places i been to when i was in the navy. Yet i realize there was no where else on earth that i wanted to explore. This lead me to think of space. Ive always loved to learn about outer space. Then i thought about traveling the universe. This is what i came up with. In my eyes its a map of  somewhere in space with neighboring galaxies.

I used spray paint on a foam board to create this. then i cut out pieces of the interstates to make it seem like a map in the galaxy.

705 i hear my dad start to play left for dead

706 my mom changed the chancel to dog whisper

708 cats bell in the hallway

709 small space heater turns on in my bedroom

710 small heater turns off

710 the gun shots have stop from my dad playing the game in the living room

711 my brother is yelling no in his bedroom

713 i hear a loud vehicle go by from the highway next to the neighborhood

714 my mom gets up to take the dogs out

715 someone has started to do the dishes in the living room

715 cats bell goes off again towards the living room

716 my dad is talking to my mom

720 my dad yells from the living room to ask me what im doing

721 i hear my fish splash from their tank

722 my mom walks back into her room

723 i hear my dad turned the game back on

725 the nosie from the dishes have stoped

725 my mom changed to the news

725 my puppy ender walks into the room to drink water then leaves

728 my phone goes off

728 mom walks back out into the living room and starts to talk to my dad while he is still playing the game

730 the dishes are being washed again

730 my moms dog lady is making noise because she walks into my room

730 the cats bell goes off again in the hallway

732 my sis is yelling for lady from her room

732 ender comes into my room and lays down to sleep

733 space heater turns on again

735 dishes have stopped again

737 my dad yells awww in a aggressive tone

738  someone is working on the dishes again

741 dishes stop, mom and dad talk about getting a cold pack for my dads neck

741 the gun shots from the games have stopped again

742 i hear metal hitting each other

743 the cat is playing in the hallway again

744 my dad is asking my brother if he needs anything from walmart

747 my mom comes in and takes my dirty dish

747 someone goes in the bathroom and then flushes the toilet

749 someone is moving around in the living room

750 the tv is turned on in the living room, someone is pouring dog food into ladys dish in the living room

751 my brother walks from room to room getting all the trash

752 my brother opens the front door

752 my brother opens the front door again

753 i hear my brother putting new bags in the trash cans

753 my mother starts the dishes again

754 my brother goes into the bathroom, turns on the rock radio station

755 he turns on the water

755 another loud car goes by on the highway

756 i hear my mom pouring popcorn seeds into the pot

758 i hear the popcorn popping

759 my phone goes off again

In a safe hideaway from the world where many sources of blood can run as one but also on their own
we all do different task yet we work together

with the walking dead and the government falling apart
with trash everywhere and the level of noise rising
we can still have a life where we are together

The reason why I LOVE josh hoffine’s work is because he makes his whole set out of nothing. The collects money over time and then builds small movie sets. He doesnt use any photoshop in my photographs. I also love him because the reasoning behind his work. He focuses on common fears. In away this could help people who have the fears that he remakes. Taking an image of the fear then showing it to the person could help  because the person can see their fear in a controlled environment.

The reason why I chose this guys blog is because he explains how he made his work. He tells you what equipment you need and  how to use it. This is always helpful when you wanna learn new techniques with your camera.

I like this photographer because of his true dedication he has for his work. He isnt scared to do the outrageous photos and every photo he has made has a story behind it. I watched a documentary film on him. It was on his projects called “the naked states”.

I love love love underwater photography and to add dogs into it makes it even better. This guys work is amazing!! He is excellent at capturing the right moment for dogs underwater. He also uses color in a very bright brilliant way.

For this project I did 3 of them in India ink and 3 with cardboard. the first there are in india ink.

This project was the one I had to most fun with. I think because there was no wrong way to really do it. everything was so open and there was so many different ways to do this design. my favorite stage was inking it!

Here are the designs for concentration and isolation. The reason why I chose acorns and a squirrel is because I adore squirrels. I think they are just so cute.

Today was the  first critique. I think it went fairly well. For the most part my designs got a good review. The flaws that were mentioned in the designs were the continuous use of negative space and craftsmanship. The design that I chose to remake was the  one where we had to use curves, diagonal, and vertical.

Hello my name is Katheryn Davis. I am a transfer student from the Art institute of Tampa Florida. I wanted to switch to SCAD because they offer better opportunities. My major is photography. My love for photography started when my father gave me his Nikon 35mm camera. I found out that photography always helps me feel better. I love doing all types of photography. My two favorite areas in photography is horror and fashion. I love to hang out with my friends and think of new things to do in life. I’m very out going and always open to help anyone.
