While exploring this two technics of creating the focal point in a design I decided to play with the motif of a leave. I create two designs for each technic. The ones on the top represents concentration. the ones in the bottom represents isolation. Hope you like them !

Your third design’s composition is a little bland, but your second design really pulls off the concentration and has a good rhythm to it as well. Good work.

The piece on the bottom left distracts my attention from the focal point with the changing direction of small lines. Otherwise:
It’s really interesting how there’s more light around the dark pieces the extra contrast exaggerates the focal points for sure! Nice work!

Your isolations are nice. I like the continuation of the lines from leaf to leaf in the first and I really like how the composition comes together in the second.

My favorite one is the concentration on the right for some reason it reminds me of the short ilm by pixar before Wreck it ralph comes on. Which s why it is my favorite one out of everyones .
I like the leaves, my fave is the top right Concentration and the bottom left Isolation. I find those both to be the clearest examples. The concentration one is nicely detailed!

I like your isolation design using the leaves with stripes. For me it’s mostly just aesthetically pleasing. Maybe that’s because I have a thing for stripes, I don’t know. Cool stuff!
