Concentration & Isolation

Today in Design 1 we received small stencils and were to use them to create designs containing concentration and isolation within square plains. At first I really stuck to my stencil shape when making designs but began to explore different shapes as well. These were my two favorite designs I did. Concentration on the left and Isolation on the right.

Nice work. I liked the second one. Concentrate on putting a little bit of details.

I like your first design a lot. It definitely captures my attention to the focal point. Yet, it makes me want to look around with your abstract shapes and lines.
The second one is a really good as well.

Piece 1 has alot of different shapes which pulls my eye away from the intended point. Piece 2 with the person inside the bubble defiantely pulls the attention to that particular spot. Nice work!

That second design is awesome! Attention was drawn straight to the man in the bubble. Good job!

Yeah I also think the second one is brilliant! Not just because the ‘man’ is a very good focal point, but also the idea itself is very good. For me it looks a bit like ‘the man in the moon’!

Isolation one with bubble man is cool! Not only is he isolated, he can’t get out!

The isolation design is my favorite. It looks like it belongs in a comic. Even if you hadn’t included the little man, I would have immediately focused on the larger bubble, but I’m glad you did. It adds more character.
