Hello ISA Members!

Our meeting for this week is this Friday, Jan. 27 at 12 p.m. in the Student Center 4th Floor. Officers Alex and Sara will be testing out potential games for our upcoming International GAME DAY happening Saturday, Feb. 22.

Please bring any games you have from home or your travels. We want to play them this Friday! Also, we will have cotton candy for all who attend.

After our meeting we welcome you to stay for Tea and Talk starting at 1 p.m.. This is a time to discuss issues you encounter day to day or share information with other students over a cup of tea or coffee.

Hello ISA Members!

Who is interested in helping serve food for Chinese New Year celebration this Saturday, Jan. 21? It starts at 7 p.m. in the Student Center so volunteers would need to arrive at 6:30 p.m. All the volunteers will receive free Chinese food for helping.

It is our first meeting of Winter quarter! It is also Friday the 13th which is know as one of the most superstitious days of the year. But we won’t be switching bodies like some movies suggest happens on this day instead we will be exchanging culture. I will be presenting my birth state of Pennsylvania. This state has some humorous qualities to it and great food that I will be sharing.

Please bring your friends and meet us noon, 12pm, at Habersham Hall, 235 Habersham Street.  We will have the room number posted on the sign when you enter the building.

If you are interested in becoming an ISA officer we will be describing our officer positions for anyone interested in applying. We have some exciting events coming up that we want to share with you as well!

Welcome back to Savannah and the start of Winter Quarter!

If you have ever been interested in being an ISA officer your chance is coming. We will be holding elections at the end of the quarter and training will start in Spring Quarter with the current officers. Only active members will be considered so try to attend as many meetings and events as possible.

First Event:
2012 Winter Quarter New International Student Reception at Casbah Moroccan Restaurant this Friday from 4-5:30pm.  We will be welcoming new students and greeting old friends.
