Thank for everyone who came out to the meeting yesterday!! It was great to see all the new people in addition to old faces. Things to remember from the meeting:

–We are looking for Graduate, Freshman, and Production Design class Representatives. Please go to our blog for the self nomination form print it and fill it out and give to it Vivian: http://blog.scad.edu/iiiact/

–GTC registration has opened up! Please go to SETC.org and go to State Screenings to begin the process and for more information. It closes on September 30th, and you need a recommendation so start now!

–Testing Dates for Alpha Psi Omega are Oct. 1st and 15th. Come Join one of SCAD’s only honor societies, and look forward to the Benefit Production of Stop Kiss directed by Alyssa Gentry in the Winter

–Ovation Awards this year will have a competition for the Statuette presented to the winner, more information soon for all the excited designers.

–Season Planning: If you are interested in Directing a 3rd Act show next year go to our blog and begin the proposal process now!! If you have a show suggestion for the mainstage season email us at iiiact@scad.edu

–Play Reading Series: We will have two readings this quarter. Stop Kiss on October 8th at 4pm Location TBA, and The Practice Child written by student Tyler Stuart on October 22nd at 4pm Location TBA.

–Listen out for information on the benefit for GA Shakespeare Theatre coming up this quarter, or donate money yourself at http://www.gashakespeare.org/. They are really close to their first goal so help out now!!
