Hello clubs!
The Student Preservation Association hosts Preservation Week every spring and this year and they are looking for a little extra help! With the help of Student Activities Council, they are kicking off Preservation Week 2012 at 7pm on Saturday April 28th at Meddin Studios with a catered reception, silent auction, and two alumni film screenings.
They are looking for students and faculty to donate any artwork to the silent auction, in which a generous portion of all proceeds will go to the Fresh Air Home of Tybee Island, a summer camp for underprivileged children of Savannah. Fresh Air Home is funded solely through private donations with sessions running from June through August. The children that attend Fresh Air Home are given everything from clothing, food, personal hygiene items, toys, etc.
Please see the attached flyers for details on Preservation Week and auction donations. The deadline for submission has been extended to Wednesday April 25th at 7pm – Student Preservation Association’s next general meeting. Please help us make this event a success and mark your calendars for the opening reception!
