” I owe everything to this Professor. Friend. Mate. Colleague.
I remember first meeting him and being telling him my story on how I got to SCAD all the way from England. He loved it. I then took my first Intro to graphic design class with him. I thought I knew what I was getting into. But I was wrong. He always challenged me with the question “Why?” Making me think about my design work, everything that I design has to have a purpose. Everything has to have a reason. He defined me and my graphic design skills, style and who I am today. He defined me, and I carry that at the back of my head everyday. Remembering the skills he taught me. Always.
I then became amazing friends with him, always visiting him in his office, helping him out and getting involved with the SCAD Graphic Design department. He helped me though the bad times and good times at SCAD and my personal life. Always giving me confidence with my work, pushing me to the max, helping me understand where I went wrong and what I can do to improve myself. He helped me become who I am today. Even post SCAD Graduation, he checks up on me making sure I am doing well, and I do the same.
He is not only my professor, but an incredible and caring friend who I shall cherish forever. Much love professor! Much love ! Cheers!” Dinesh
“ Thank you for the extra time, the help, the understanding and the guidance. With all that was going on with me outside of school, you all still managed to reach me. I want to thank you for the time I got to spend with you all before I graduated. I am so appreciative of all that SCAD provided me with, exposed me to and taught me.
SCAD literally saved my life. I’ll always have great things to say. Thank you.” Jasmine
“ This might seem a little random but I’m just writing to you to say thanks for being an amazing professor! I just got a paid internship and during my interview all three creative directors loved the projects that came from your class. One of them thought the project was “bad ass”. He said it was one of the best projects he has seen in a while. I know the only reason why I got all that great work from your class was because you pushed me to do the best work I could do and I greatly appreciate that. I just felt like letting you know that what you do does make a huge difference for your students and I wanted to say thanks.” Mariana
“Today was my last day of class at SCAD! I wanted to say thank you to each and everyone of you, my professors. I can’t tell you how much I have learned from all of you. Each of you brings a unique aesthetic, style, and approach to your teaching. Combined, I feel like I have gotten the best of many worlds. For that I am very grateful. I have had a great experience at SCAD. Thanks for everything!” Tom
“I just wanted to email you to thank you for the quarter. Although, I hold all my SCAD classes high, there are few classes and professors I feel have made a strong impact on my education. I truly feel I have gotten the most out of this class, not only did I learn but I also grew as an individual. I only hope later classes will continue to follow your class as model. I feel a whole lot more confident as a design student and will continue to work on my communication and process. Thank you for the quarter !” Cynthia
