TCG Music Services – Potential Internship

TCG Music Services is small company located in Atlanta dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance including talent buying, artist management, ticketing and concert logistics. We are currently seeking bright, motivated graphic design students familiar with web design. TCG Music Services is looking for self-starters who want to gain practical experience in the administrative aspects of the entertainment industry.

Interns selected for this position may work remotely most of the time but must have a laptop, dependable Internet connection, scanner and printer. Interns will be required to come to the office at least once a week. There is a stipend small weekly stipend along with college credit.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Marketing and branding research
• Creation and design of marketing decks, sponsorship proposals and artist related communications
• Creating meeting agendas and meeting note recaps
• Drafting artist show itineraries 
• Creating and maintaining databases
• Social Media outreach and monitoring
• Assist with the bookings for shows and lectures
• Generating show and event budgets
• Assist in booking airfares, hotels and ground transportation for artists
• Organizing physical and electronic files
• Responding to general email inquiries from the public
• Some personal errands for staff 
• Maintaining and updating artist and staff calendars
• Strategizing, coordinating and executing various client projects 
• Maintaining company and client websites and social media properties (including Facebook, Twitter and Video channels).

Skills:
General knowledge of various music genres
• Must be able to do extensive, accurate online research
• Must know how to use Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, Outlook
• Must be Mac and PC proficient
• Strong communication skills – in person, via email, and via phone
• Excellent understanding of grammar, spelling, and syntax
• Highly organized, strong follow through, detail oriented
• Discreet and able to handle confidential information
• Well groomed
