Fall 2011 Begins!

Welcome back from summer vacation everybody!!! Now that the dust has settled from the hectic Fall Quarter startup, it’s time to attend the first bi-monthly meeting of the 2011/12 school year. The Furniture Design Club will be meeting every other Tuesday at 8pm in the Undergrad space at Gulfstream.

To start everything off, we’ve invited Allicia Pickett from Career Services to stop by and tell us about all of the internships and jobs available through SCAD for furniture design students. If you’ve ever wondered what lies ahead, maybe Mrs. Pickett has the answer

We’ll also be discussing our huge Fall project. Without revealing too much, this will definitely benefit all of us (and be a huge learning opportunity at the same time).

The third thing on the list is our continuing effort to expand the FDC family. We want to get to know you, your skills, and what you want to get out of the FDC this year.

The meeting will be this Tuesday, September 20th at 8pm in the Undergrad Space (RM124) at Gulfstream

In other words… This meeting is ALL ABOUT YOU. So you should be there!!!
