Welcome to my blog! My name is Florence Chan, I’m 19, and I am a transfer student from University of Arts, London. I never had a blog before, so this should be really interesting and a totally new experience for me. My current major at SCAD is Interior Design, and considering minor in painting. I was born in Hong Kong, when I was 9 years old I moved to Shanghai with my family. Since I was 11, I started learning traditional drawing under my parents’ encouragement. However, later I have discovered my passion for art, which I developed further and started painting! After a year of CCW foundation in London, I was involved in all art fields, and gained a lot of interest for Interior Design. Now, I am very glad I’m studying at SCAD to pursue my dream, I believe the school will help me to achieve my goals, and increase my enthusiasm for art! Over the past two weeks, I enjoyed the campus life a lot and met a lot of great people! I am quite shy, but I am very glad and pleased to be a part of this community!
