Map

For this project we had to get a map and destroy it. To start this process I crumpled up my SCAD map of Savannah, splattered paint and india ink all over it, and much more destructive things. The last thing I did to the map was run through grass and mud and then walk over the face. The dirty footprints made me think of an unwanted or unused object which is common is today’s world, full of technology and GPS. Maps are almost becoming obsolete so for the final production I made a short film to display the idea of disused objects.Unfortunately, the file is to big to upload on this site, so here is my rough cut storyline…
