Black Square Problem

For this assignment we had to create a design to depict a certain definition using only flat, black squares. We could use any medium of our choice so I used my Prismacolor Markers. The words to define are the following; tension, bold, increase, playful, congested, and order.

The top left design is increase. Top middle is order. Top right is tension. Bottom left is playful. Bottom middle is bold. Bottom right is congestion.
