Hey everyone!
This will be our last meeting of the semester so it is beneficial to come. We will be reviewing your progress and making sure you are along the theme. Our exhibit will be next semester so keep working hard! Make sure to bring in anything you have created (sketches, objects, photos, etc..). We would love to see your process! We will also show the bag design we have chosen and review our community service project.

The fashion building, Eckburg, is seeking new work for its second floor showcase. Starting in the Spring semester there will be a new set of work on display. They are currently in search of fashion related artwork. It will be a great way to show off all your hard work! If you have anything you want displayed email us for more information.

This week at the Muse Arts Warehouse, SCAD will be providing a conference on sustainability and design. This will be perfect to help generate ideas for your projects! Take advantage of this opportunity to help answer any questions you have for sustainability. Hope to see you all there

We have decided to donate the proceeds we make from the bags to an environment organization. This way we can help the environment along with raising money for our club. If you have any suggestions for great organizations let us know. Our main idea is to donate to the Nature Conservancy which is a great organization that helps preserve the environment worldwide. Email us with any comments or suggestions you have for selling the bags or different organizations to help. Here are the links to the Nature Conservancy to find out more :

We have our first fundraiser coming up! We will be selling eco-friendly bags with a pattern design printed on each relating to our theme of sustainability. Look for them on sale next month around various SCAD buildings!

Friday, January 14th SCAD is hosting its annual Winter Fest to give you another chance to learn about all the clubs here at SCAD.
