I ♥ the SCAD Library January 13, 2011

Every day I’m here at SCAD I fall more in love with our library.  It is, seriously, one of my favorite places in the city and the greatest source of inspiration I could ever hope to have within steps of my office.

Today, one of our librarians directed me to an online resource that is absolutely fantastic:

http://library.scad.edu/screens/databases.html

It is a list of all the amazing online databases and periodicals that we have access to as students, faculty, and staff at SCAD.  I cannot wait to explore all of these great resources!

In the meantime, if you are in Atlanta and are able to get out of your house, stop by our library tomorrow (Friday, the 14th) for a workshop on  image hunting.  Our lovely librarians will be offering a workshop on how to find great fashion images online.  They will show you to the numerous digital resources we have access to (specifically focusing on StyleSight, ARTstor and WGSN) and help you find the right image for each of your projects.

If you are interested, drop by the SCAD library any time between 10 and noon tomorrow (Friday) to get their help!
