Posted by ereber in : Jen, library, magazines, periodicals, serials , add a commentI personally receive upwards of 600 individual issues a month for Jen Library’s periodical collection. Everything from Vogue to Architecture and Urbanism passes by me first. I process these materials and then enter them into Millennium, our online catalogue, so that you can be aware of what we have available by checking the library catalogue through your Myscad pages. I also facilitate the binding of older periodicals into book form to help preserve the information that our serials collection provides. These bound volumes as well as loose current issues can all be found on the second floor of Jen Library. If ever you are looking for an item in the online catalogue and it is on reserve, you can find that item at the Circulation Desk on the first floor by the front doors. If you need help navigating the serials collection come see either myself or Steve Majure, the Serials Librarian, in our office on the second floor of Jen Library by the bound periodicals.

I am the Serials Assistant at the Jen Library. I assist the Serials Librarian, Steve Majure, in managing over 900 magazines, journals, and periodicals for the Savannah campus. Its quite a job, but we love what we do. If you ever need assistance with any of the serials resources we welcome you to come see us on the second floor of Jen Library.
