Our quarterly Macau Trip led by Prof Jonathan Farris was held last Friday, Sep 21. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the architecture and history of Macau. Places we went to include: Largo do Senado, Dom Pedro Theatre, the Church of St. Augustine, Chapel of St. Joseph Seminary, Mandarin’s House, Moorish Barracks, A-ma Temple, Avenida de Praia Grande, St. Dominic’s Church, the Ruins of St. Paul’s…

Residence Life Orientation is a very important day for students who are new to Hong Kong. During the fall 2012 orientation, 62 students attended the session. They were given a presentation on Gold Coast Residences, SCAD and essential information about Hong Kong.

They also had an opportunity to walk around Sham Shui Po, where our campus is located, to buy necessities and be familiar with the neighborhood.

We also showed the international students the public transportation!

Last but not least, a quick look at Ap Liu Street, a unique street market that sells anything you can imagine!
