subdivision finals
I chose each of my final designs for different reasons. The first one I selected because of the asymmetrical balance which gives emphasis to the box in the corner and it allows your eye to follow around the piece. The second one I selected because it is almost neatly divided into quarters and I think that is a pleasing arrangement. The third one I selected because the eye easily follows through the piece and the parallel lines create an illusion of thickness. The fourth I chose because the round lines allow the eye to move through the piece and the straight lines bring the eye back down.

I really dig the third design, I really dig the concept of the whole set actually, the third is just my favorite.
I dig the cat named Kiwi as well.

Your designs look way different on your blog. I like them a lot more. I think it is because your background is black as well.. Keep up the good work
You are so brave by using the black construction paper to create white lines.
My favorite one is the diagonal lines. But I also like the curved lines, those are really amazing because it is hard to tell that the black paper is creating the white lines. Otherwise, the horizontal and vertical lines I believe the black paper really look like shapes.
But you definitely did an amazing job by not doing black lines.

I really liked your inverse work. Nice contrast from everything.
I really liked your whole set. It was my favorite in class. I love how you decided to flip the project. Nice job.
Emma I really like the way you decided to make this project. I love the way you took the risk to do something different from others. I never would imagine to do something like that!
Hey Emma! I like that you created your lines out of negative space rather than positive! It’s definitely original and all the black gives nice wholeness to your designs!
Wow, I really enjoy all of the negative space! The four of them look so good together.
