Thank you all so much for making this such a great first meeting and rehearsal! For those who had to step out early and were unable to attend here are some notes from today’s meeting:

We started to choreograph our performance piece for the fall, ‘Shadowland‘ from Lion King on Broadway. Also in practicing this week, as Mahogany said, “watch those Bob Fosse arms!” Check his work out on YouTube!

I hope to keep this blog updated with news from rehearsals, meetings and from the dance world in general, if you have any suggestions or videos you would like to share, send us an email.

Be sure to befriend Mahogany on Facebook as well under ‘Lady Mahogany‘ to ask her any questions and to keep updated with any information she will post.

Hi Everyone!

I hope the start of classes has been going well and am excited to start EDC this year

Thanks to all of those who showed up to the meeting on Wednesday, if you couldn’t make it, no problem! We’re going to have a booth at Fall Fest this Saturday, September 17, from 4-7pm. Stop by if you have any questions and to put your name on our mailing list! Also for those who couldn’t make it to the meeting I thought I would post some points that we covered.

This Sunday, September 18, from 12 noon to 2 pm will be our first meeting at O-House Ballroom. It will include auditions at the beginning for new members followed by a regular rehearsal.

New Members! You’re required to submit a resume and headshot. Click on the page ‘Dance Resume’ for more details! If you are able to, choreograph a 1-2 minute piece for your audition. If not Mahogany will have a piece for you to learn.

Come ready to dance, fitted clothing to see your body is ideal!
