COLOR ASSIGNMENT GUIDE
RED – Shallow Line Engrave
GREEN – Medium Line Engrave
YELLOW – Deep Line Engrave
BLACK – Raster Engrave
BLUE – Interior Cut
MAGENTA – Exterior Cut
CYAN – No Cut

HELPFUL TIPS
Assign colors according to swatches.
Include a cyan box around your cut / engrave lines that represents your materials.
Avoid double lines. Double lines = double cuts & wasted time
Remember to properly name your file and label your material.
Priority is given to Industrial Design and Furniture Design Majors.
Files are processed on a first come, first served basis.
Each student receives one hour of cutting time per session. Any work after that first hour will be put off until all other jobs have been caught up.
