Prince Edward is located near Sham Shui Po. Just one stop away on the MTR is another hidden gem of Hong Kong. Prince Edward is home to many markets and restaurants My favorite part of the district is the Yuen Po Street Bird Market. Men and women of all ages flock to the market every morning to spend the day admiring birds and cages that other patrons have brought to hang on the hooks located throughout the market. Shops on the sides of the market sell various things such as cages, grasshoppers and even birds that are available to buy or trade. Hundreds of cages give a very ancient feel to the market. The cages are often hand made and are beautifully decorated.
