This is my concentration piece. When you look at it, you should feel like you’re laying down while a group stands over you, forcing your eyes to focus on the general area where all their faces would be.
And here is the isolation piece. Hopefully, your eye is drawn to the only paw-print amongst all the footprints.
Here is my re-do of the piece that required all line types. I thought it was my weakest piece of the four so I went back and fixed it. I basically just added more lines. This was done in Photoshop CS6.
Here is the finished part 4 pf project 1. It looked better sketched out. I’m not very happy with it but I think it was an interesting way to include horizontal, diagonal and curved lines. Glad this project is over and done with.
Here is the finished part 3 pf project 1. I added two more lines to make it flow the way I really wanted it to. The inspiration (I guess you could say) is from how I sometimes draw hair or lion manes. This is how I would make my strokes when using a pencil. See the stray hairs I included? I actually started with very thin lines but when cutting them out of construction paper, it presented a problem. It’s hard to make neat and tidy lines on the scale I had in mind. So I started over completely and thickened the lines.
Here is the finished part 2 of project 1, the diagonal lines design. I’m not sure what I was going for here. I just liked the form I created. It reminds me of Dr. Suess.
Here is the finished part 1 of project 1. I tried to create an image of movement that traveled in a direction other that horizontal or vertical but with using horizontal and vertical lines. This is the end result.
