Cursive as a Lost Art
This was a topic of discussion my previous Typographic Communications course with Professor Newman. It is now no longer required for my state, North Carolina, to teach cursive, and it is to me a loss, especially in the communication arts (thinkĀ of all the hand lettering that is done currently in cursive that will be “lost” to future generations.
Or even other related categories (an even older art), Calligraphy?
