The script has a completed ending and last Friday we started discussing the lead roles! A Trello account was created for the short film. Before next Friday everyone should be invited to the group and leading roles will be finalized.
Other than producing films the Production Club would like to help be a resource for other productions like game design, television or live action. Last meeting we had ITGM majors visit and discuss their games. They played a few levels and mentioned for their senior game they were more focused on game mechanics at the time. They could use an extra pair of hands to help out the art side. If anyone is interested in helping, please check out the facebook page for more details and contact information.

Today we looked some character designs and storyboards (We’ll post the designs and boards soon!). We also had Prof. Maloney give us feedback on the story so there will be some editing to that. Mood boards are the next planned thing as well as refined designs and boards.

Today we had Prof. Ingham explain to us what a production pipeline looks like. He went on to say that the best productions he was a part of were the ones with amazing team mates that were enthusiastic about the project. No egos, no baggage, just everyone ready to pitch in and help where needed.

We had the final story ideas pitched and it was great to discuss the possibilities for each concept. They all had great potential, but after the vote we decided on our concept:
Pigeon Post
A pigeon goes through hell to deliver letters between two lovers and comes to find that his heroic services weren’t in the name of love… they were in the name of lame one-liners.
