Concentration:
How this is concentration is that there are leaves going to a certain point until the cross and make a concentrated area.
Isolation:
How this is isolation is that I made all of the leaves touch each other, except for one leaf.
Why I chose this design is because I liked how I had multiple diagonal lines were going inward to a focal point. Despite there being very little separation in this piece, I liked how my eye traveled into a focal point.
Why I chose this design is because I liked the flow of lines going down and inside. I also really like the focal point, of how there are more lines going inward to it.
I chose this design because I liked how I incorporated the diagonal lines with the vertical lines. I also like how I have the curved lines going towards the focal point and create separation of the groundsheet.
I chose this design because I liked how the separation created square-like negative space. I also really like the spiral-inspired lines I incorporated into the piece.

Hello, this is what I currently look like now while typing up my introduction. So, my name is Ashley. I am an 18 year old college freshman attending the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I plan on majoring in animation, though I am torn between storyboard and scientific illustration for my minor. My favorite mediums are colored pencil, watercolor, and acrylic paint. I would love to learn other types of art mediums, especially digital. I was born and raised in New Jersey, but for the past 6-7 years I have lived in Tennessee. Besides art, my interests and hobbies include: playing the piano, singing, cooking, and making costumes.
