Why did you choose SCAD? I chose SCAD for so many reasons that I could not possibly list them all. Two obvious advantages that I saw in SCAD were the wide variety of majors/minors and the high job placement rate. My parents also really loved the atmosphere when we came to visit and that was when it became official that I was coming to school here. It is still definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made!

Why are you an Ambassador? I became an Ambassador mainly for two reasons. I had a hard time convincing my parents to even let me apply for an art school because they did not want me to become a “starving artist.” I am so thankful to the many different Ambassadors that we interacted with during our visits. They are basically the reason I am able to be here at SCAD. When I was invited to attend an information session about becoming an Ambassador during orientation weekend, I was definitely eager to help other prospective students choose SCAD like the other Ambassadors helped me. I also thought the Ambassador program would be a great way to meet people. I have definitely made a lot of valuable friendships and acquaintances through the program so far.
