Why did you choose SCAD?
I visited SCAD after my sophomore year of high school for the Summer Seminars program. I already was pretty well versed in SCAD knowledge, but I wanted a better taste of the city, the classes, the professors, and the community I could expect. I had an incredible time – better than I could have imagined. I learned so much in just one week of classes at SCAD and made many friends, many of whom are now SCAD students as well. I knew this was the sort of experience I wanted in my college career. I fell in love with everything SCAD and started my application junior year of high school. While I also had applied to other schools along the way, as soon as I received the big envelope from SCAD, I knew where I was headed.

Why are you an Ambassador?
I am an ambassador because I absolutely love SCAD. I love the atmosphere this University has created for its students and staff and I feel compelled to share my wonderful experiences with others and make an impact in the futures of others, in just a fraction of the way SCAD has for me. I am the kind of person who wants to reach out to others and help them, make them feel comfortable. What better way to do this than to be able to be one of the first faces they see (as a representative of SCAD) and to address their concerns and answer their questions, thereby creating a positive outlook on their future, hopefully at SCAD!
