Fall SCAD Days
This fall, the Savannah College of Art and Design hosted two SCAD Days, or Open Houses. Student Ambassadors assisted as emissaries of the college for prospective students and families, as tour guides, and as building greeters for the event. Ambassadors also accommodated special needs guests. Our ambassadors did an excellent job during the SCAD Days this fall quarter! Here are some quotes from ambassadors about their experiences!
- “My favorite SCAD Day moment was getting to see my new bee mentor do so well! She seemed comfortable and at ease. It was like she had done it a million times before. It was great.”
- “My favorite SCAD day moment was when a mother asked questions during the entire bus ride, and we answered all of them correctly, even the tough ones!”
- “When I had to give a tour all by myself. I didn’t give any room for nervousness to sink in, and I just went with it. I had no awkward silences, I got asked questions, and a prospective student called me adorable. Guess I’m doing something right!”
- “I enjoyed giving tours very much. I was able to balance SCAD facts with personal experience to make a unique tour pitch.”
