For this assignment, I made an instrumental song with my guitar. My observation spot was in the busy hallway of Anderson hall. the majority of the sounds I hear  are people walking from one room to another, walking up and down the stair ways, back and forth the restroom, making tapping sounds on the floor. I tried to recreate these sounds by tapping on the guitar body. The second most common sound is the sound of doors slamming from people walking in and out of rooms. I tried to recreate these sounds by slapping and strumming on the strings. Another most common sound are the sounds of people talking throughout the hallway. The notes created by tapping on the fretboard represent this.

All my Numbers and Alphabets are found in my dorm room, rather than throughout the city of Savannah. It was challenging, attempting to find everything in one place, forcing me to look closer at everything.

We spent a lot of time discussing how our version of “Jack & Jill” is going to be and what to show on each slide. In the end, after much discussion and debate, we decided to go with the nasty adult version of Jack & Jill. It was amazing how our ideas come together and how each person contributes better and better ideas, based on our concept of the nasty version of Jack & Jill. As a Group, we divided the work equally and each of us did what we’re strong at different aspects of craftsmanship.
