50 Things

The 50 things I experienced on a walk around the neighborhood.

3rd Assignment-Black Square Problem

We use four black squares on a white background to create an image that expresses the meaning of a given word. The black squares can be different sizes, or all the same size. Suggested words include order, increase, bold, congested, tension, and playful.

2nd Assignment-Repitition Grid

Our second assignment was to take a shape and lay another shape on top of it. After that, we subtracted the overlaid shape to create a new one. This would be our “motif”.

We were then supposed to take the motif squares and arrange them on a 10×10 grid to make a design out of them.
