Exploration #1: Concentration & Isolation Emphasis
In Exploration #1 we were asked to create to two images: First is the concentration emphasis, and the second is isolation emphasis. We could use any medium as long as its black & white, and the shape of the image should be square.
Here are the two images of the the task.

Your concentration picture is very nice. My attention goes straight to the flower. Nice job.
Your concentration is really cool because there’s such pattern and then the flower sticks out so much your eye just has to look at it. Your Isolation is also pretty cool and different than alot of the other pieces I’ve seen but my eye is definately drawn to the isolated bottom right leaf.

Greetings Alsharif,
You designs are so unique. I like your concentration design quite much aesthetically, but I’m not sure if it directly shows the concentration concept. I may not be able to see it because the design is so creative compare to others that I’ve seen (including my own). But I do think that your isolation is spot on and I directly go to the darken flower. Great job all around and I really do like the creativity of it all.

Your concentration design make my eye move around the image and settle on your focal point. Good job!
The concentration piece had me questioning which way i was going to look first, but really your composition and scale helped ensure I saw the concentrated leaves first. And the Isolation piece stands out really well.

Very nice use of natural images, leaves, rain and a flower.
I’m the odd man out: I like your isolation design the best (but they’re both good!) I like how spaced out and lonely it feels, which is what isolation is. I look forward to seeing how your designs develop. Check out my blog if you have a moment.
