Final Work
Critique Notes:
- Small details are very important.
- Use 8 x 12 bristol board instead of 9 x 12.
- Craftsmanship is important.
- Make sure to represent your work clean.
- Focal point should not be in the middle.
Redesign:-
Used CS6 so the design looks more clean and more crafted
I choose my final four designs on the basis of originality, balance, and line. I think the four chosen best exemplify these three design elements.
100 Thumbnails consisting of :
- 25 – Horizontal & vertical
- 25 – Diagonal
- 25 – Curvilinear
- 25 – At least one horizontal or vertical, curvilinear, and diagonal.

Greetings Khaled,
I quite enjoy your designs. All four are so strong and unique. My favorite would the Vertical/Horizontal design. There’s something very architectural about that design that I like. I’m curious to know what your critiques consisted of.

Hello, Alsharif. It’s William from your Design I class… I like your thumbnails, there’s very neat linework there. Also, your finals all manage to look different and distinguishable from one another, which is a big plus! The redesign is very eyecatching, but I can’t help but wonder if you might want to make some thicker lines for some of them. Overall, you’re looking good and I hope you’ll take the time to check out my finals as well: http://blog.scad.edu/wiball21/2013/01/16/final-redesign-stages/
