The SCAD Museum of Art’s fashion exhibitions have been consistently amazing ever since its opening. I knew the new “Little Black Dress” collection would be no different. What I really loved about it was, despite its name, this exhibition featured some of the best black dresses ever created. They weren’t necessary “little” but they were the epitome of a “black dress”. They even threw in the classic all-lace button up dress worn by Marc Jacobs and later parodied by Seth Meyers at the CFDA Awards. And if that wasn’t enough, the museum was gracious enough to feature a small number of SCAD student designs from last year’s fashion show. Not too shabby.
