The office for career and alumni success at SCAD invites you to meet new friends and reunite with old ones as SCAD Chicago-area alumni gather for networking, drinks and hors d’ouvres at ROOF. Called “One of the Best Rooftop Bars” by ABC News, ROOF is located on the 27th floor of theWit Hotel, the newest downtown Chicago boutique hotel located on historic State Street in the heart of the revitalized theater and Loop business districts. The evening will be hosted by SCAD industry and alumni outreach manager Sallyanne Oettinger and senior admission representative Katherine Lelek.

Date and time: Thursday, Jan. 26, 7-9 p.m.

Cost: There is no cost to attend. A selection of appetizers will be provided by SCAD and a cash bar will be available. Additional food may be ordered off the menu.

Join the SCAD Denver Alumni Group at Artists Speak!, a program during the “Street Cred: Graffiti Art from Concrete to Canvas” exhibit, Jan. 12, 7-9 p.m. at the Longmont Museum & Cultural Center, 400 Quail Rd., Longmont, Colorado. Spend the evening exploring what it’s like to be a graffiti writer. Interact with the artists in this panel discussion and learn the difference between tags, throw-ups and pieces and get a chance to view the “Street Cred” exhibit.
