Join the Denver Alumni Group on Saturday, Aug. 8, 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Loveland Museum/Gallery, 503 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, Colo. The group will visit the Wayne Thiebaud 70 Years of Painting exhibition. It is an extraordinary show featuring over 100 of Thiebaud’s paintings and drawings. The group will also take a gallery tour at 1 p.m.le by Don Vogl, University of Notre Dame emeritus professor of art,  to gain deeper understanding into the artist’s methods and meanings. The last Denver Alumni Group event held in June was at La Piazza dell’Arte in Downtown Denver, a big thanks to everyone who helped out with our street painting design which celebrated SCAD’s 30th Anniversary!

The “Design Thinking” curated sales exhibition showcases the breadth of SCAD School of Design students, faculty and alumni. Exhibition runs through Aug. 9 at Red Gallery, 201 E. Broughton St, Savannah, Ga. with a reception July 10, 6-8 p.m.

The Animasyros 2.0 animation conference will be held Sep. 24-27 in Ermoupolis, Syros Island. A call for entry is being held through Sep. 5.
