SCAD fosters a stimulating and collaborative environment in which diverse and talented faculty and staff are dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders in art and design.

 

We are always looking for dynamic new staff and faculty who share our dedication to helping students succeed. Our staff recruiters will be traveling to Florida to interview for a variety of staff positions.  So as an alumni, if you are looking for a way to give back or really would just like to be a part of the SCAD community again, here is your opportunity!

 

There are immediate openings for event coordinator, international admission representative, user experience designer, interactive designer, web and mobile developer and assistant social media manager.

Join the Denver SCAD Alumni Group and group president Amy Cheslin-Turner (B.F.A., painting, 1991) for the RiNo Spring Open Studio Tour and Iron Pour May 13 during Create Denver Week. Meet at Ironton Studios at 1 p.m. for the live iron pour by the University of Colorado Denver’s sculpture program and then head out to explore over 65 RiNo studios, galleries and creative businesses featuring live demonstrations and spec ial programming.

The office for career and alumni success at SCAD invites you to an industry and alumni reception during HOW Design Live 2012 in Boston, Massachusetts, June 21. Step into a scene reminiscent of 1960’s Manhattan at Back Bay Social Club and enjoy cocktails, cuisine and conversation with alumni attending the conference, Boston area-alumni and industry peers. The evening will be hosted by SCAD industry and alumni outreach manager Stacy Aldrich.

Leaf’s casually chic atmosphere with indoor and outdoor transitional dining and Southern cosmopolitan cuisine is the perfect place to unwind, catch up with old friends and make new ones.

The SCAD Performing Arts Department Showcase 2012 is Friday, March 16 in Atlanta, Georgia, and Monday, March 19 in New York City. Alumni are invited to attend and meet current SCAD performing arts students.

 

The Atlanta Showcase presents 14 actors in 50 minutes.
Date and time: Friday, March 16, 6 p.m.
Place: 14th Street Playhouse
