I’m Amanda Earnest, a graphic designer with many interests. I’ve just had a life-changing event: I completed a move from Auburn, Alabama to Cincinnati, Ohio just recently. Starting in 2006 and until this past December, I was the graphic designer/photographer for the Auburn University College of Education in Auburn, Alabama (while freelancing for other AU colleges and businesses in the area). I’ve accepted a new position as the Assistant Director/Graphic Designer, Creative Services at the University of Cincinnati Foundation. I have years 7 of experience working in higher education, focusing on the areas of print, identity, publications and web.
I’m currently an eLearning student at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) work on my Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. I graduated from Morehead State University with a BA in Art (emphasis in graphic design and a music minor) in 2005. While there, I was able to participate in many organizations and worked for University Communications as a student graphic designer, which heavily influenced my decision to work in the field of university marketing and communications. My future plan is to move up in the university marketing/communications field and teach at a university.
