The ACA Library of Savannah College of Art and Design is the intellectual hub of the Atlanta campus. Library staff who have expertise in the arts and other related disciplines provide a wide variety of services to patrons and promote the information skills necessary for students to be productive in an ever-changing environment.

We are located on the fourth floor of the SCAD-Atlanta building as well as online at http://www.library.scad.edu. Reference librarians are available to answer questions at the reference desk, via telephone, and via email.

The Visual Resources Center provides slides and digital images to the SCAD community to assist in preparing talented students for professional careers. The collection’s primary function is to acquire, develop descriptive records of and provide effective access to images of works of art, architecture and design that are utilized in classroom instruction, student presentations and research.

The Writing Center is also housed in the ACA Library. The writing center offers students, faculty and staff individualized and small-group assistance with all aspects of the writing process, including prewriting strategies, structuring ideas, developing a thesis statement and other projects. To contact the writing consultant, email writeatl@scad.edu or phone 404-253-3109.
