A Good Book for Winter Break
Looking to relax over Winter Break with a good book? Then explore ACA Library’s browsing collection. In this collection, you’ll find a variety of popular fiction and nonfiction by bestselling authors. Nonfiction authors David McCullough, Frank McCourt, and Thomas Friedman write about history, politics, and personal remembrances. Fiction authors, who write in a variety of genres, include James Patterson, Anne Tyler, and Emily Griffin.
If you would like to combine your interest in art and fiction, you might want to explore Tracy Chevalier’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, which fictionalizes the creation of Vermeer’s famous painting, or Sarah Durant’s In the Company of the Courtesan: A Novel, which tells the story of a Roman courtesan who escapes to Venice in 1527 to begin a new life with Venice’s artists, poets and, nobles.
