First homework assignment on doodle and noodles we were supposed to do:

A.Using only straight horizontal and vertical lines, divide the page into a design that emphasizes line but develops interest in how the space is subdivided

B. Do the same thing using only diagonal lines

C. Do the same thing using only curved lines

D. Do the same thing using at least one vertical or horizontal, one diagonal, and one curved line.

I kinda have the same patterns with a bad sun tan on my back after  a fun weekend filled with fall fest, bike rides and farmer´s markets.

Some comments that were made of my work in class:

One of them looks like a story: the squiggly lines look like people trying to get to work, then comes the sunset and they to their homes in the mountains.

Some unifying principles that people  saw were: rhythm, repetition and variety.

I still need to work on my craftsmanship and how to make the negative space more interesting in the other three layouts.
